By Air
Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) is the only airport that services Jackson Hole and one of the most scenically dramatic arrivals in the country. The runway sits entirely within Grand Teton National Park, with the Teton Range rising dramatically out of the valley floor on the airport’s western side (for arrivals, try to get a seat on the right side of the plane).
The airport is approximately 10 miles north of downtown Jackson, a scenic 15-20 minute drive from the Rusty Parrot.
Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) in Salt Lake City, Utah, is the most common connecting hub for travellers flying from major U.S. and international cities. SLC is approximately a five hour drive from Jackson, or a short connecting flight away. Other common hubs that offer direct flights to JAC include Chicago O’Hare (ORD), Denver International Airport (DEN), and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).
Flight schedules and direct routes vary by season. We recommend booking early, particularly for winter and summer travel when demand is high.

Jackson, Wyoming is accessible by road from several scenic routes. Please be aware that mountain driving conditions can change rapidly, particularly in winter. We strongly recommend checking road conditions and ensuring your vehicle is equipped for winter travel from November through April.
From Salt Lake City, UT: approx. 5 hours
From Denver, CO: approx. 8 hours
From Boise, ID: approx 7 hours
From Billings, MT: approx. 7 hours
Hertz and Enterprise both offer on-site rentals at JAC for guests looking to rent a vehicle during their stay. Hertz offers direct rental vehicle delivery to and from the Rusty Parrot.
Street parking near the hotel is ample in the summer months. From November 1st to April 15th, no overnight street parking is allowed due to plowing schedules. Climate-controlled garage parking is available to guests of the Rusty Parrot at all times of year.
Ski Shuttle
In the winter, we offer a complimentary ski shuttle to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort that departs the lodge daily at 7:45 am and 9:00 am. Return shuttles depart the resort at 3:00 pm and 4:15 pm.
