Yes! Every part of us is owned and run by the Harrison family.  The attention to detail that exists in the choice of your bedding goes into the treatments in the spa and the dining experience at the Wild Sage.  We are able to do this by spending thousands of hours sampling, testing and considering every little item.  We want to personally have tried every experience you will have to ensure the memories you make will mean as much to you and your loved ones as they have to ours.

Jackson is the town in which the Rusty Parrot is located. Jackson Hole refers to the entire amazing valley that we get to call home.

Most of your sumptuous dining experiences and shopping adventures will be done in the town of Jackson itself, while the endless outdoor experiences will be in the valley of Jackson Hole, as well as Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.

Over the years we have always said the main reason we lose guests is because they move here.  I think you would be hard pressed to find a better place to live than in Jackson.  The beauty that you get to wake up to every morning, the sense of community and the culture that exists make this unlike anywhere else in the world.  We are home to everyone from the worlds wealthiest to those who go home every night to tents and there is something here for all.  While we never want to see our guests leave, they still come in for a wonderful meal or a relaxing treatment.  If you ever decide to make the jump – yes, we can help you with that too!

If a lazy morning or a quiet dinner is more your speed then we would love to bring your meal to your room.  Any time the restaurant is open we will bring your order up to you.  Breakfast is served from 7:00am until 11:00am and dinner from 5:30pm until 9:00pm.

It has been over 30 years since we first opened and since day one our guests have relaxed in the peace and tranquility of our location while loving the fact that they are only a five-minute walk from downtown Jackson.

All of our public areas will be open year-round.  Our weather will vary over the course of a year from sub-zero to 90 plus degrees.  All temperatures bring a little something different to your stay and we will have everything open to ensure you can take advantage of it.

Renting a car is more than anything a matter of personal preference. We are more than happy to arrange, transports, tours and all other travel without you ever having to sit behind the wheel of a car.  If however, you are the type who wants to get their morning coffee, jump in your vehicle and explore then we can also assist you with some ideas of places to visit as well as some hidden gems.
