The Body Sage Day Spa in Jackson Hole is a must immediately after arrival! You can make it through any travel nightmares if you know you have a spa waiting for you. The simple peace of mine this brings is divine.
My treatment was one hour after my arrival at the Rusty Parrot, perfection. My masseur collected me from my room and escorted me spa room. I started with an Aromatherapy steam bath. Unlike a steam room, the steam bath allows your head to exposed to the open air while you body is embraced by the smoothing vapor. The bath was followed by a stress releasing message which was an invitation to let go, to peace and to absolute tranquility. All you have to do is breath. Everything else is taken care of.My second day of spa treatments was later in the week after a morning of dog sledding. This time I had three, a Hot Stone massage, another steam bath (can’t get enough), and the Eh-Wah-Kee Mud wrap (a detoxifying wrap). The sum…a stolen moment of heaven.
The Body Sage Spa knows how to nurture you body, to relax, refresh and rejuvenate allowing you to enjoy every minute of Jackson Hole.
Tip: Book your spa treatments at the same time as your Rusty Parrot reservation. It is simply perfect!

Wild Sage Restaurant in Jackson HoleWhile staying at the Rusty Parrot, I made sure to enjoy an evening at their restaurant the Wild Sage. Wow!

Environment: Warm, welcoming, lavish, private, personal

Wine: Forgive me for I can not do wine any justice of description but it was simply perfect. Order anything because it is all amazing.

Entrée: This was by far the best complete dinner in Jackson. The food was of superior quality, an exquisite blend of classic and nouveau American.

I recommend to simply relax and enjoy every ounce of pleasure the Wild Sage is willing to dote on you and don’t ask, just say “yes, please!” You will savor the food and the moment.

Year after year this is one of Rusty Parrot’s most popular packages. We invite you to share your stories and photos of your experience on the Wolves and Grizzlies Safari. There are 3 and 4 night packages available to explore the Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. The small groups of visitors will travel in safari vehicles, most with opening roof hatches. The Grizzlies and Wolves Safari package includes two nights at the Rusty Parrot Lodge and Spa, 1 or 2 nights lodging in Cooke City, Montana, an expert wildlife guide, meals, transportation, use of optics, park entrance fees and dinner for 2 at the Wild Sage Restaurant upon return from Yellowstone National Park.

Snowshoeing in Jackson Hole along the Snake River

This was a wonderful afternoon along the Snake River. A little overcast, but the hike was quite enjoyable. AJ had hot cider and a hot lunch waiting for us when we got to the teepee. We saw three trumpeter swans fly up-river as we were hiking out. Sorry I didn’t get them on film, but enjoy my video. I can’t imagine what the hike would have been like on a clear sunny day. A must do!
