Breakfast at the Wild Sage
When the lodge was first planned, the kitchen was designed to bake fresh muffins so the smell would fill the halls in the morning. A full breakfast soon became part of the plan and since the Lodge opened it has been known for breakfast.
The breakfast menu changes daily, featuring seasonal and local ingredients. Creations range from old favorites to new traditions. A few examples are Rusty Parrot eggs Benedict, chicken and roasted apple sausage omelet, creamy sausage gravy over jalapeño biscuits, pecan crusted trout, or wild huckleberry pancakes. All are prepared with the passion and care that has been a signature of the Rusty Parrot for 20 years.
