Denver, Colorado to Jackson Hole
Just over 500 miles or between 9 and 10.5 hours
You have your choice of two routes from Denver to Jackson Hole. One runs via the interstate through Cheyenne,WY, and the othertakes US 287 from Ft. Collins, CO to Laramie, WY.
Route #1: Interstate Route. Quite a bit longer, but takes you through Cheyenne via Interstate highway.
Take I-25 N to Cheyenne WY
In Laramie, turn onto I-80 W
Take I-80 to Rock Springs
Go North on US-191
Becomes US-191/ US-189 at Daniel Junction
Becomes US -191/ US-89/ US-191 at Hoback Junction.
This same road becomes Broadway in the town of Jackson
–> Note: if you’re going to Teton Village, take a left at WY-22 just as you enter Jackson
–> then, turn right at the Moose-Wilson Rd./ WY 390.
Route #2: Provides a short-cut from Ft. Collins, CO to Laramie via state roads. Much quicker!
Take I-25 N to Fort Collins, CO
CO-14 W exit
Take a right at US-287/ CO-14N to Laramie
Bear right (staying on US-287) when US-287 and CO-14 diverge
Turn onto I-80 W
Take I-80 to Rock Springs
Go North on US-191
Becomes US-191/ US-189 at Daniel Junction
Becomes US -191/ US-89/ US-191 at Hoback Junction.
